Unfortunately, Streamlabs OBS does not support direct NDI output. If you want this function, try another Solution instead. Any word on the mighty OBS crew working on a completely native M1 version of OBS & any news of how it's going if so? Presumably its a huge job - just wondering if it's even on the cards - and if so how long are we talking till its ready?
I'm currently pushing my current streaming mac (maxed out 2019 MBP) to the absolute max so am starting to think is it time to jump ship to PC now - M1s look great but not keen on running OBS through whatever it does to make it work at the mo...
Anyway just wondering if any of the devs could shed any light? thanks!

Ndi Streamlabs Obs Mac

Running OBS 24.0.3 on Windows 10 with NDI 4.7.0, for some reason OBS isn't seeing NDI sources for the Macs on my network (a 2015 MacBook Pro, both running OBS 24.0.2 on Mojave, also NDI 4.7.0). The weird thing is that only the PC's NDI input from the Macs' output seems to be broken:
- The 2 Macs can select each other as NDI sources
- The PC and the Macs can all select an NDI source from the same machine (e.g. Skype, or OBS itself running on that machine)
- The Macs can select the PC as an NDI source (so output is working on the PC, just not input)
I unfortunately don't have another PC to test with, so I'm not sure if this is a cross-platform issue or something borked with NDI input into the machine, but it's strange that only the Mac->PC source isn't visible.
I could have sworn this was working at one point in the past in my setup, but can't recall which versions of the plugin / NDI Runtime / OBS I was using (and it seems only the latest NDI Runtime is available on Newtek's site, so I'm not sure how I could revert properly).
Any thoughts as to what could be preventing the Mac -> PC source from showing up, but allowing all other NDI sources to work normally?
